BOOK SIGNINGS, READINGS o Peter Rose will sign her book, “Food, Drink and Celebrations of the Hudson Valley Dutch” from noon to 2 p.m. Will Nixon, of Woodstock, author of “My Late Mother as a Ruffed Grouse” as well as two chapbooks, is winner of the 2001 Pavement Saw Press Chapbook Award. Del Marbrook, of Germantown, author of “Far From Algiers,” is winner of the 2007 Stan and Tom Wick Poetry Prize from Kent State University Press. Spireng, of Lomontville, author of “Out of Body,” winner of the 2004 Bluestem Poetry Award from Emporia State University in Kansas, also has written four published chapbooks. May 9 at Oblong Books and Music, 6422 Montgomery Row in Rhinebeck.
